
Jahan is Senior Vice President at the New York City Investment Fund and manages the Fund’s investments in the health care sector, including the BioAccelerate NYC Prize competition (www.bioacceleratenyc.org).
Prior to joining NYCIF, Jahan ran her own technology commercialization consulting business, where she worked with entrepreneurs and not for profit research and product development partnerships. Prior to that, Jahan was the Director of Technology Transfer at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where she focused on creating partnerships and licensing in the orthopedic sector. Before that, Jahan was with Mojave Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing therapeutic vaccines, with heat shock protein delivery technology. At Mojave, she successfully identified synergistic partnership opportunities, research collaborations and competitor market research. Prior to that, Jahan was at Mount Sinai School of Medicine's Office of Industrial Liaison. Jahan has a Ph.D. from New York University School of Medicine.
Peter is the General Counsel of the New York City Investment Fund. Prior to joining the Fund in 2007, Peter was Counsel at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, working on mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments, dispositions and joint ventures. Peter received a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Maria is the President and CEO at the New York City Investment Fund. Prior to joining the Fund in 1999, Maria was a Managing Director at BT Wolfensohn (now part of Deutsche Bank), providing strategic and financial advice related to mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and the development of business strategies. Before starting with Wolfensohn, Maria worked at LaSalle Partners in the New York area and for Merrill Lynch Capital Markets in New York and London. Maria has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Wellesley College.
Anthony Giugliano is the Chief Financial Officer of the Partnership for New York City and the New York City Investment Fund. Prior to joining the Investment Fund, Mr. Giugliano was the Chief Financial Officer at Catholic Charities of Brooklyn and Queens, serving as the organization’s first CFO in its 100-year history. Previously, he worked extensively in the private sector including various financial positions at Viacom International and Bertelsmann AG. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Brooklyn College and an MBA from Long Island University.
Lili Lynton is Senior Vice President at the New York City Investment Fund. Prior to joining NYCIF Lili partnered with New York chef Daniel Boulud, as co-founder and operating partner in a restaurant business that includes ten Boulud branded restaurants in NYC and around the world. Lili worked at Sanford C. Bernstein as a financial analyst in the financial services industry from 1988–92 and at Lehman Brothers as a financial analyst from 1983–85. Lili has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard College.
Prior to joining the Fund, Ryan spent three years as an investment banking analyst in Deutsche Bank’s Media & Telecommunications Group in New York. Ryan graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a B.S. in Economics and a minor in Mathematics.
Prior to joining the Fund in 2009, Prabhdeep spent three years as an investment banking analyst in Morgan Stanley's Financial Sponsors Group in New York and Boston. Prabhdeep received a B.A. with concentrations in Political Science and International Studies from Boston College.
Prior to joining the Fund, Rishi spent three years as a Senior Program Manager at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO), a non-profit that provides educational and career programs to young people from underserved communities. Before joining SEO, Rishi spent two years as an investment banking analyst at Banc of America Securities. Rishi received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. from UCLA.
